Multidisciplinary BIM modelling of the Maland rail project in Sweden provides better project collaboration and results. Geographically spread design engineers in Gävle, Malmö and Sundsvall are collaboratively designing in Novapoint sharing a joint Quadri model for road, rail, terrain and water/sewer.

Data sharing and close collaboration combined with new types of contracts are critical in order for the public road and rail authorities and the civil construction industry to achieve their goals.

Triona has together with Trimble won a contract to deliver a new system for handling traffic-related route information for the Norwegian National Rail Administration (NNRA). The system includes the products Triona TNE and Trimble Novapoint, plus a new web solution.
